PerfMan PointView
The PerfMan PointView module allows for
IT and non-IT professionals to view resources by service, line of
business, location, application or user-defined categories to be in sync
with a company's short and long term business delivery and planning
cycles.
PerfMan for UNIX PowerVM Support
For AIX and Linux, PerfMan for UNIX now supports management for IBM's PowerVM System p logical partitions (LPARs) whether dedicated or shared (micro-partitions).
PerfMan for z/OS Specialty Engine Support
ISM PerfMan
announced support for exploiting the value of zIIP and zAAP Specialty
Engines. This is in concert with the industry's goal of optimizing
IT investments in addition to providing a tool for strategic planning.
PerfMan Installation Requirements for IBM z9 Processors
If you are processing data from an IBM z9 processor, please be aware of the
following requirements with PerfMan for OS/390 and PerfMan for z/OS software.
- PerfMan for OS/390
Requires PerfMan Version 4.5.0 or higher of the host software. This Version 4.5.0 of PerfMan for OS/390 is available with PerfMan Version 6.4.1. - PerfMan for z/OS
Requires PerfMan Version 6.4.0 or higher of the host software. This Version 6.4.0 of PerfMan for z/OS is available with PerfMan Version 6.4.0. - PerfMan for z/OS with Specialty Engines
Requires PerfMan Version 6.4.1 or higher of the host software. This Version 6.4.1 of PerfMan for z/OS is available with PerfMan Version 6.4.1.
